Aimed at intermediate/advanced dancers.

Everyone is invited to come and share in the combined knowledge of two of Melbourne’s most well known and experienced tango maestros, teaching together again!

Tango Bajo La Mision Milonga – note different venue !!

Tango Bajo La Mision Milonga

On 14 May, for one night only, our milonga will be held at the 12th Caulfield Scout Hall – due to regular venue being used for election purposes –  which is located at 1 Beavis Street Elsternwick.  There is plenty of parking nearby (the hall is next door to Coles) and some interesting looking places to grab a coffee or a bite on nearby Glenhuntly Road. DJ Elena will be in charge of the playlist.
Come join us from 8pm until 11:30pm-ish.
$20 entry includes light supper, a glass of sparkles, tea & coffee in addition to enjoying the music of one of Melbourne’s favourite DJs.

TangoMelbourne Milonga New

If you are NEW to TANGO this is the perfect Milonga for you.  It is designed to get you out and dancing, using your new found skills and meeting wonderful new friends.
For years Tango Melbourne has run Milonga NEW to support anyone getting into tango.  We know it can feel daunting but Milonga NEW is here to break the ice.

In the interest of building live music into the Melbourne tango scene as a regular feature, Tango Melbourne’s in-house tango trio is now a regular at milonga NEW.

Come and support all the new dancers getting into the wonderful world of Tango.  It is a perfect way to give back to the community that has given you so much.  Come and enjoy the energy of the Newbies. It’s a new era of Tango in Melbourne, let’s embrace the new dancers. Time to shake off the cobwebs and dive into 2022.

Tango Esencia Intermediate Class

This month we will be working on Vals and how to best bring out the Val’s cadence! 🌹
No partner needed for this class as we will rotate partners in class.

Leigh Rogan Tango

Argentine Tango classes are held in Melbourne, Victoria every Thursday evening  (excluding public holidays and a break at Xmas) in Gardenvale/Brighton. This class is suitable for those with argentine tango experience.

Tango Melbourne Saturday night Milonga

Starting  @ 8:00 so that its easy to get a dance in and still function on Sunday morning.
Bring someone you care about to show them tango!  Come and enjoy an easy feeling evening of love, dancing, drinking and chilling out!

Czech Club Milonga

Czech Club Milonga is finally back.
We are so happy and excited to finally bring the beloved Czech Club Milonga back in 2022.
Venue: Tango Esencia Studio :327 Swan Street, Richmond (until further notice, Czech Club Milonga will be held at Tango Esencia in Richmond)
Time: Doors open 7pm until 11pm
$20 entry
Bar Esencia will stocked with your favourite drinks to purchase on the night.
