Followers Technique with Marce and Rina

Rina and Marce will guide you through posture, balance, alignment and strengthening exercises in the first part of the class. We will share some great exercises to create and maintain a dancer’s body.
In the main body of the workshop, we will use the work we did and apply it in forward and back ochos, such as the transfer of weight and how we can dance the ochos with style, grace and confidence.
Then, we will discuss how to “dance it”- to suggest and express differently according to the music.
We will also work on some beautiful embellishments to continue practising at home so that you can comfortably apply the work we did in socials.

Tango Classes with Marce

And after a few months of planning and preparation, I am finally able to launch the

Tango classes for beginners

😊

Tango Touch Argentine Tango Classes

Tango Touch is Melbourne’s newest Argentine Tango school, ready to equip you with a unique language of dance to connect and converse in a whole new way.

We are targeting beginners currently but can accommodate intermediates if they turn up!

We start at 7 pm to add a half hour of value to our classes. We will work on the tango technique: walking, contra-body, pivoting, circularity and building as we go!
Biomechanical integrity in bodily structure and movement is foundational to internal somatic flow and well-being. With this as our fundamental intention, let’s refine and find nuance and finesse in our way of ‘being-in-body’.

7:30-8:30 dynamic
8:30-9 pm practica
Cost: $25pp
