Our practice on Oct 24th will take on a different flavour….
Join us at the beautiful Kensington Town Hall for an afternoon of Tango and Tea. We’ll have refreshments and sweet treats (feel free to bring a plate to share), plus a playful playlist to suit the mood. Spend the afternoon dancing and socialising in a friendly atmosphere. Connect with old friends and also use this as an opportunity to meet, chat, and dance with someone new.

The familiar codes of a milonga remain, but without words, creating space to listen more deeply and connect more fully.

12.30 pm Prelude: A guided four-fold immersion of stillness, solo walking meditation, partner walking connection and a group mandala to set our silent scene and open our energetic space.
1.00 pm Milonga Euforia en Silencio: Includes a light meal.
Dress Code: Something a tad euphoric
Contribution: $25 Tickets at the door, correct cash (please) or bank transfer
Come down early or stay on after the milonga and head to the beach for a swim.
If you are able to, we’d love you to bring a little something to share on our communal picnic table inside, so you can all graze as you please.
Family friendly! Well-behaved children and grandchildren are very welcome. We just ask that little ones stay off the dancefloor and keep the screaming to a minimum

We want to invite you to bring an intention to this space – something you’d like to work on. Whether developing fluidity in that butterfly boleo, or working on your walk…
I’d like you to come to practice and collaborate with your peers.
Who knows – you might have a way of explaining x move that the person next to you has been struggling with in such a way that helps it ‘click’ in their mind. And vice versa – they may have a gem or two to offer to you. Of course, if you want to dance, that is welcome, too
