Tango Touch Argentine Tango Classes

Tango Touch is Melbourne’s newest Argentine Tango school, ready to equip you with a unique language of dance to connect and converse in a whole new way.

We are targeting beginners currently but can accommodate intermediates if they turn up!

We start at 7 pm to add a half hour of value to our classes. We will work on the tango technique: walking, contra-body, pivoting, circularity and building as we go!
Biomechanical integrity in bodily structure and movement is foundational to internal somatic flow and well-being. With this as our fundamental intention, let’s refine and find nuance and finesse in our way of ‘being-in-body’.

Tango with Fabio and Michelle

The dancer that you want to be lives inside you.

Learn the techniques that, throughout the years, became today’s standards.

Awaken senses that allow the dancer to come out and flow.

Time: 7.30 pm Intro to Tango- free

8.00 pm – 9.00 pm – Intermediate $ 25.00

Tango with Bill & Leigh

Our classes are open-level and are taught by Bill Jarman and Leigh Rogan who are two of Melbourne’s most experienced and well-respected tango teachers.

The class cost is $25 per person per class. No partner is required.

Everyone is invited to come and share in the combined knowledge of two of Melbourne’s most well-known and experienced tango maestros, teaching together again!

World Tango Day Mini Milonga by Tango Touch

This week is our last class for 2023, and we are celebrating World Tango Day with a shorter class and mini milonga.
Love to extend the invitation to the broader tango community.

All are welcome, it should be a lovely and easy tango evening.

Leonardo Querrero workshop at Tango Esencia

This workshop will include the following.

  • Fundamentals of the Closed Side Embrace
  • Understanding the importance of ‘wait-listen-projection’
  • Follower and leader energy exchanges.
  • Entry & Exit of Volcadas & Colgadas (body, foot & embrace positions, energy & exercises).
  • Musicality- Speed dynamics, tension, resistance, invitation, energy, footstep & body position.
  • Tango Lines

Suitable for all levels, as various levels of complexity will be discussed.

Cost: $ 30 ea or $ 50/couple.
