Marcela Ospina (Marce), originally from Colombia, developed her passion for tango by listening to her father sing and play tangos with the guitar as she was growing up. Her dancing, teaching, and DJ skills have been enriched by her participation in festivals, championships, and performances internationally.

Class casual $25: One-off class.
Membership is $36 per week (Most popular). It gives you access to all live group classes, online LIVESTREAM and recorded classes (over 150), free Practica entry, and 50% off on events. The Membership can be cancelled or put on hold at any time; you must give two weeks’ notice.

Join us for a unique tango workshop where we delve into the intricacies of both roles (leader and follower). We’ll explore common elements that enhance connection and synchronicity in our dance. This is a rare opportunity to study one of the most exciting topics in partner dancing. Don’t miss out!
It would be best for you to have dancing experience to attend this workshop.
Please bring flat shoes to warm up and your preferred tango practice shoes for the workshop.

Rina and Marce will guide you through posture, balance, alignment and strengthening exercises in the first part of the class. We will share some great exercises to create and maintain a dancer’s body.
In the main body of the workshop, we will use the work we did and apply it in forward and back ochos, such as the transfer of weight and how we can dance the ochos with style, grace and confidence.
Then, we will discuss how to “dance it”- to suggest and express differently according to the music.
We will also work on some beautiful embellishments to continue practising at home so that you can comfortably apply the work we did in socials.
Tuesdays 7 pm-7:45 pm +time for Social Practice 8:30 pm – 9 pm Tango Fundamentalsis ideal for anyone NEW to learning tango, advanced-beginners, and equally to students keen to continue developing and refining their technique
Level 2: Tango | Vals | Milonga
Tuesdays 7:45 pm – 8:30 pm + Social Practice 8:30 pm – 9 pm Focussing on different styles of tango. Working on musicality, expression and technique for the social dance floor. Pre-requisite: ideally students will have been dancing tango/attending classes on a regular basis for at least 3 months. Or have been attending Level 1 classes on a regular basis.
Stay and have a cuppa and Social Practice from 8:30pm to 9pm
