By revisiting the fundamentals in the Beginners & Improvers Class, you’ll reinforce essential skills that enhance your overall dancing. Simultaneously, the Evolution Class allows you to challenge yourself with more complex movements and creative expression. The combination of attending both classes not only deepens your understanding of tango but also fosters a well-rounded skill set, empowering you to dance with confidence and artistry.
No Partner or booking required. The classes are suitable for absolute beginners and experienced dancers looking to refresh the basics.

In this welcoming and supportive environment, you’ll develop essential tango skills, from posture and musicality to fundamental steps, all while building confidence in your dancing.
Everyone receives personalised attention—helping beginners grasp the basics with ease and guiding improvers to refine their technique.
You’ll also have the opportunity to dance with some of our more advanced students who often join the class.
Our milonga for tonight only will be held at the gorgeous RSL Hall, 301 High Street, Prahran.
$30 entry per person includes a nibble of supper, DJ Karen spinning the tunes and a live set from Melbourne musician trio ‘Tangology.

50 years ago Mingo Pugliese revolutionised the dance by creating the ‘Estructura de Giro en 8’ – a turning structure that not only organises movement but unlocks endless possibilities on the dancefloor.
This workshop is for leaders and followers and is aimed at social dancers who want to refine their technique. It will take place on Saturday 29 March at 12 Surrey Road South Yarra from 6 – 7:30pm. The workshop will be conducted by Bill Jarman of Tango Bajo and Leonel Colque of Leonel Victoria Tango, two of Melbourne’s best teachers collaborating to share their collective tango wisdom. $70 per couple or $40 per individual. Workshop participants will also be entitled to a reduced price entry of $20 into BIlz Milonga which starts at 8pm.
Our classes are open-level and are taught by Bill Jarman and Leigh Rogan who are two of Melbourne’s most experienced and well-respected tango teachers.
The class cost is $25 per person per class. No partner is required.
